National Grief Awareness Day: What Grief Has Taught Us
Grief has a way of changing how we measure time.
There is life before loss, and life after it. For many Israelis, October 7th, and the war that has followed, became that dividing line. Since then, every holiday, birthday, family gathering, and even the most ordinary Tuesday has carried the weight of what was lost.
On National Grief Awareness Day, we remember those whose lives were taken too soon, and we stand with the families who carry that loss every single day. We honor their memory, speak their names, and recognize that grief is not something measured in weeks or months, it becomes part of the rhythm of life.
