The artificial intelligence boom may be gathering momentum, but it’s Israel that’s emerged as a global leader in delivering cutting-edge use cases and ambitious new projects alongside some of the world’s largest industry players. 

In a recent exploration into which nations had the highest density of global talent, Israel ranked the highest in the world. Based on LinkedIn data, 2.1% of LinkedIn members registered in Israel in 2025 were classified as AI talent, representing the highest volume in the study and ranking far higher than second-place Singapore. 

Ranking around fifth globally for private sector investment with around $19 billion invested in AI-related companies between 2013 and 2025, Israel has long been a nation that’s punched above its weight when it comes to the development of transformative technologies, but now it appears to be shaping up to become a global focal point for not only R&D but also developing successful AI applications at scale. 

This has helped Israel to excel as an early mover in many different areas of artificial intelligence, including healthcare, security, and physical AI. 

It’s this ability to work frictionlessly with international peers that’s also proving to be a major boost for the nation’s AI prowess.
