Armageddon clearly arrived Last Year!
Last year was the hottest year ever for the United States. It was not only the hottest on a record that goes back to 1850, but the hottest for our planet in 125,000 years; because climate change is accelerating the melting of the world’s mountain glaciers, according to a massive new study that found glaciers shrinking more than twice as fast as in the early 2000s. And the Doomsday clock was set at 89 seconds to midnight on January 27, 2025 putting it the closest the world has ever been to what scientists deem is “global catastrophe.”
And now a newly discovered asteroid named 2024 YR4, has a 2.2% chance of hitting our planet on December 22, 2032, according to the European Space Agency. If the asteroid is on the large end of its estimated size, the impact blast damage will be 50 kilometers (31 miles) from the impact site. Armageddon has clearly arrived.
The world’s glaciers lost ice at the rate of about 255 billion tons (231 billion metric tons) annual from 2000 to 2011, but that quickened to about 346 billion tons (314 billion metric tons) annually over the next decade, according to the study in the journal Nature. And the last few years, the melt has accelerated even more, hitting a record 604 billion tons (548 billion metric tons) lost in 2023, the last year analyzed.
Planet Earth recorded its hottest year ever in 2024, with such a big jump that our planet temporarily passed a major climate threshold for the first time in recorded history; our planet was above a hoped-for limit to warming for an entire year. There were 27 weather disasters in the United States that caused at least $1 billion in damage, just one fewer than the record set in 2023. The cost of those 27 disasters was $182.7 billion.
Hurricane Helene was the costliest and deadliest of the year with at least 219 deaths and $79.6 billion in damage. Armageddon did arrive last year!
The word Armageddon does not appear in the Hebrew Bible, and appears only once in the Greek New Testament, in Revelation 16:16 which makes no mention of armies being predicted to one day gather on or near Mount Megiddo; but instead seems to predict only that “they (will gather) the kings together to … Armageddon”.
We know now know that oil, gas and coal are the kings of global warming. The book of Revelation text does seem to imply, based on the text from an earlier passage of Revelation 16:14, that the purpose of this gathering of kings in the “place called Armageddon” is “for the war of the great day of God Almighty” which is now seen as the ongoing battle against Global Warming. The Madhi himself may already have been born.
Yajuj and Majuj are mentioned both in Qur’an and hadith. In Islam their appearance will be one of the signs of the end times. These events will transpire after the arrival of Dajjal, Mahdi and Prophet Jesus. Gog and Magog (“Gog u-Magog” in Hebrew and “Yajuj and Majuj” in Arabic) are names that appear in the Hebrew Bible, and in the Qur’an.
About 39% of Americans believe we are living in the End Times, according to Pew Research. That includes half of self-identified Christians and a quarter of the religiously unaffiliated, who agree “we are living in the End Times,”. There was a split among Christians, between those who don’t believe this is the End Times (49%) and those who do (47%). Among Christians; black Protestants (76%) and Evangelicals (63%) are most likely to believe these are the End Times. Mainline........
