Last week saw two steps forward and one step back in our campaign to Keep London Road Open.

Our community has spoken loudly.

East West Rail and the Government are listening, but we have not done enough yet to convince them to act.

I know many people were dismayed to see that the idea of an up-and-over pedestrian bridge with lifts is still on the table, despite all the local feedback.

This just won’t work.

It will sever connections for anyone using wheels – and we all know about the reliability of public lifts in Bicester!

My message is not to give up hope.
