The UK government have highlights HM Revenue & Customs HMRC's shortfall as unpaid UK taxes hit record £59.2 billion.

The annual "Tax Gap" report, released by HMRC reveals that the difference between the total amount of tax theoretically owed to the UK government and the amount actually collected hit £59.2 billion representing 6.4% of total tax liabilities.
