Dems right on orders, but wrong to inflame

Six congressional Democrats recently posted a video exhorting military personnel not to follow illegal orders.

This merely reasserts the universally accepted notion that soldiers are obligated not to follow illegal orders. Nevertheless, the White House found it inflammatory.

Since the lawmakers are assumed to be wise in the way of political maneuvers, they likely did it to inflame. Just as likely, they anticipated Trump’s hyperbolic reaction, “seditious … traitors … death,” mostly in caps for the attention of his base.
