Johnson fails to uphold true Christian values

Of all the reprehensible members of Congress, House Speaker Mike Johnson is hands down the worst.

Johnson has violated his oath of office and to our Constitution more times than Trump has broken our laws.

What makes Johnson even more vile is the fact that he presents himself as a devout Christian and even claimed to have spoken with God and Jesus a few years ago before he sold his soul to Trump.

Epstein scandal aside, I seriously doubt that God or Jesus instructed Johnson to abandon all of his Christian beliefs to do the bidding of a convicted felon, womanizer and a man who admittedly broke nearly every commandment.

Time after time, Johnson enabled and encouraged Trump to attack all of our laws and institutions in his quest for power. While Jesus fed the poor, Johnson and Trump actively attempted to take food away from these people. Where Jesus protected the downtrodden, Johnson signed off on Trump sending American troops into American cities to attack our citizens and lie repeatedly about the reason why.

Now in the penultimate mortal sin, Johnson must explain to his family and Christian community why he has gone to such great lengths to shield and protect people who sexually abused hundreds of underage girls.

Mike Johnson, this is your “come to Jesus“ moment, and you have been found guilty as sin.

Keep vigilant in fight against Trump policies

Good news, bad news.

The recent election showed that the nationwide No Kings peaceful protests were significant. Trump’s policies and actions are totally rejected by an overwhelming majority of voters.

Democratic candidates won handily because they focused on the public’s needs, while GOP candidates stuck with Dozing Donald Trump’s ineptness.

The bad news is that Trump and the GOP won’t change. Things will get much worse before they ever get better.

Expect more federal troops in our streets to intimidate protesters and create incidents that Trump will use to justify arresting and deporting citizens. We already see examples of this with ICE and border protection thugs arresting and deporting legal immigrants, including kids.

Instead of providing cities and states with more police to better control crime, Trump would rather spend billions on his personal army. The military is being used for target practice to assassinate foreigners in boats with no evidence of smuggling drugs.

The recent government shutdown also exposed the GOP’s and Trump’s cruel and inhumane treatment of millions of people who rely on ACA health subsidies and SNAP benefits.

While the Democrats capitulated to help feed 40 million SNAP recipients, the health benefits have been left for “negotiations.” The GOP has been looking to gut the ACA since it was established in 2010, but never offered a plan. Trump is obviously jealous of Obama’s ACA success.

Protests work. Stay vigilant and work to elect Democrats who offer to make our lives more........
