Just because a city judge has defended the constitutionality of a city law against a challenge from city residents doesn’t mean the law is necessary, that it’s serving its original intended purpose or that it’s being enforced fairly and uniformly.

With a year of experience now under its belt, the Saratoga Springs City Council owes it to residents to revisit its controversial “camping ban” and decide if it’s really accomplishing what the council intended.
