Live updates: US, Iran exchange fire as Trump insists ‘it will all work out well’

American and Iranian militaries again traded fire on Sunday, with U.S. Central Command stating Monday that it had intercepted Iranian ballistic missiles targeting U.S. troops in Kuwait. The U.S. also struck Iranian radar and drone sites after Iran downed an American drone.

President Trump overnight Sunday posted on social media that “it will all work out well in the end” as he called for an end to the “chirping” about the lack of a peace deal from Democrats, some Republicans and “political hacks.”
