Wilson wins South Carolina GOP gubernatorial runoff after last-minute Trump endorsement
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson (R) is projected to win the primary runoff for the GOP’s gubernatorial nomination, according to Decision Desk HQ, putting him on a clear path to victory in November.
Wilson on Tuesday defeated South Carolina Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette (R), who finished first in the crowded June 9 primary with President Trump’s endorsement.
