Trump says he hasn’t made a determination on Pirro’s future

President Trump said on Tuesday that he has not decided on whether he will keep Jeanine Pirro in her position as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia following her move to drop charges against former Olympian David Hearn for allegedly damaging the Reflecting Pool.

“I haven’t made a determination,” Trump told reporters when asked on Tuesday evening. 

Hearn was indicted by a grand jury in Washington, D.C., last month on charges of felony destruction of property and faced 10 years in prison. Pirro alleged Hearn “ripped a piece of recently installed sealant on the bottom of the Reflecting Pool at the Lincoln Memorial.”
