National Recording Registry adds Elton John, Mary J. Blige albums, Minecraft soundtrack
Songs from Elton John, Celine Dion and Mary J. Blige; the cast recording of "Hamilton;" and the Microsoft Windows reboot chime are being recognized as the "sounds of America" — earning them a new place in the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry.
Twenty-five "audio treasures" will be added to the National Recording Registry, Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden announced on Wednesday.
