Pentagon knocks DNC over Memorial Day post on Iran war: ‘Classless’

The Pentagon is bashing the Democratic National Committee (DNC) as “classless” over a Memorial Day post on social media honoring service members killed during the Trump administration’s Iran war.

The DNC on Monday posted to the social platform X what appears to be a since-deleted image of 13 service members, which they referred to as “American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in Trump’s war in Iran.”

One of the Defense Department’s official X accounts quickly accused the DNC of exploiting the deaths.

“This is one of the most classless, disrespectful, and vile posts using America’s fallen warriors as props to try to score cheap political points against President Trump,” the Pentagon said in its post. “Their sacrifice should NEVER be exploited, especially on Memorial Day.”
