The Supreme Court is nearing its summer break. But before the justices end their term, they must clear out their pending cases. They chipped away at the docket this morning — here are the newest rulings:

A Rastafarian who was forcibly shaven by prison guards can’t sue: The court decided that a Rastafarian, whose dreadlocks were shaved by prison guards, cannot sue the prison. The Washington Post pointed out that this is notable because the court has been expanding religious freedoms lately. Read more

Human rights abuse lawsuit: “The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Tuesday that practitioners of the Falun Gong spiritual movement cannot sue tech giant Cisco over allegations of aiding the Chinese government’s surveillance and torture of the group.” Read more
