More than 3 million pounds of Trader Joe’s food added to nationwide mass recall
NEW YORK (WPIX) – Another popular product has been included in the mass recall affecting millions of pounds of food sold at Trader Joe’s locations throughout the United States.
Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. had initiated a recall of over 3 million pounds of Trader Joe’s Japanese Style Fried Rice with Edamame, Tofu, and Hijiki Seaweed in early March. Last week, the FDA designated the recall as Class II, meaning exposure to the product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.
The products were sold in the following states: Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana,........
