Kennedy Center removes Trump name from website, YouTube page

The Kennedy Center on Monday scrubbed its website and YouTube pages of references to President Trump.

On Monday, Trump’s name was also excluded from formal invitations to the annual honors ceremony at the center. However, his name remains on the venue’s Instagram, Facebook and social platform X accounts.

The move follows a court ruling that ordered the center to remove the president’s name from all official communications in addition to indoor and outdoor signage by June 12. 

Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio), an ex-officio Kennedy Center board member, sued to block the Trump administration from adding his name to the venue, which serves as a memorial for the late former President John F. Kennedy.
