These were the most popular baby names in your state last year, data shows

(NEXSTAR) – There are undoubtedly dozens and dozens of Olivias and Liams running around, but not as many in some states as in others.

How do we know this, you may ask? Because the Social Security Administration has released new data on the newborn card applications it fielded last year.

The agency earlier this month shared its list of the most popular newborn names of 2025. Olivia and Liam maintained their top spots, and much of the top 10 for boys and girls remained the same.

New state-level data was also largely unchanged from the previous year.
