Buc-ee’s to open westernmost location soon, with more new stores on the way

(NEXSTAR) – What began as a Texas-only convenience store has since grown to a beloved travel destination with more than 60 stores across a dozen states, and even more locations on the way.

Flush with Beaver Nuggets, brisket, and more souvenirs than you could ever expect a fueling station to carry, Buc-ee’s has been experiencing a growth spurt in recent years.

Back in 2021, Buc-ee’s boasted a footprint of just over 40 locations. All but six were in Texas, with other locations in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Today, you can find more than 50 locations across 12 states (36 are in Texas).

Buc-ee’s will soon be open in a 13th state, with the planned opening of its new store in Goodyear, Arizona, set for the Monday after Father’s Day.
