Megan Rapinoe Gets Mega-Triggered Over Team USA Throwing Back Beers With Kash Patel

Can Megan Rapinoe ever be happy?

It’s doubtful. Highly doubtful. She’s so bitter and angry, in fact, that she had to take her dark, stormy, obnoxious personality and rain all over Team USA’s glorious gold medal parade.

During a recent episode of her podcast, “A Touch More,” with her wife Sue Bird, Rapinoe said that the men’s hockey team had “allowed themselves to be co-opted by a clown” when they invited FBI director Kash Patel into the locker room to celebrate their gold medal with a few small beers. “In what I like to call a classic ‘ripping defeat from the jaws of victory,’ the United States men’s hockey team, in their utter moment of glory, childhood dreams come true, sensational, ruined it for themselves. They allowed themselves to be co-opted by a clown. And now you’re a clown. You look like a clown,” Rapinoe said.

“Kash Patel is in the locker room, partying, chugging beers. I’m not decorum over everything. That’s not what I need out of my FBI director. Like, what are we doing? You just accomplished this amazing thing. This has nothing to do with politics, her hatred of Kash Patel, or her hatred of Donald Trump. It’s very simple, actually. She is simply bitter and resentful that more Americans care about the Team USA men’s hockey team winning gold than about anything the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team has ever accomplished. We care more about a hockey gold medal than the women’s team winning the World Cup.

She cannot handle that truth, so she has to drag everyone else down into her morass of resentment and envy.
