I have a theory that if you asked the average male Democratic politician to throw a tight spiral, they would flick their wrist and let the ball loop out of their hand like a girl.

Not because they are liberals (maybe that has something to do with it), but the Democratic Party tends to attract more academically focused people who excelled in school, not sports. The people who become Rhodes Scholars. The front-row students. Generally, those people tend not to be great athletes.
