Kid Rock sparked instant backlash after two U.S. Army helicopters paused at his home in a low fly-by.
A video shared Sunday on Instagram showed the famous singer saluting the pilot of an Army Apache helicopter while standing next to a replica Statue of Liberty at the edge of his pool. Kid Rock cheered on the aircrafts at his Nashville home and gave a salute.
He posted the video alongside a snippy message targeting Gavin Newsom.
“This is a level of respect that shit for brains Governor of California will never know,” he wrote. “God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her. 🇺🇸 🙏”
The stunning visual display was met with online critics, with many questioning who was footing the bill for this spectacle. Others were not impressed by the “Southern White House” sign displayed in the singer’s home.
