As a temporary coping mechanism, Kittle reportedly downed a bottle of medicinal tequila gifted by team owner Jed York, according to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini.

Russini later clarified that Kittle was seen polishing off a full bottle of Patrón tequila, which he had specifically requested and which was delivered from owner York’s suite. The scene, while grim in context, was a familiar sight to many adults after an especially rough day.

“Here’s what I found out: It was Patron tequila,” Russini wrote on X. “The bottle was sent from the owner from his suite to Kittle after he requested it. That bottle is now empty.”
