His smoldering, soul-soaked rendition of “Tennessee Whiskey” has officially become the first country song ever to earn a rare double diamond certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, marking more than 20 million units sold. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced the news Monday, noting this was the third song to ever receive this honor.
