Climate-conscious Americans should be fortunate for a Trump presidency for more reasons than one, but top among them is the reality that President-elect Donald Trump’s victory is certain to lower energy costs for all.

Unlike President Barack Obama, who promised in his war on clean coal that U.S. “electricity prices will necessarily skyrocket,” and the Biden-Harris administration, which imposed costly Environmental Protection Agency regulations to increase the price of natural gas, Trump is committed to reducing every American’s electricity rate and putting savings back into the pockets of families across the nation.

Indeed, Trump understands that the threat to Americans’ pocketbooks was caused by the Biden-Harris administration’s green energy spending spree, made worse by the Orwellian Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) which passed without any Republican votes.
