KATY GORDON: Enough delays – let’s get Eljamel victims their answers

At what point do delays go from being reasonable to being viewed as an excuse to try and avoid something?

And how long ago did we pass that in the case of neurosurgeon Sam Eljamel and his many victims?

Currently we are waiting to find out what the Scottish Government is going to do about the location of the long-awaited public inquiry, after issues around fire safety and building warrants.

I am not surprised some of these victims have been left confused, isolated and scared not just by the lack of forward motion in the process, but also the lack of information about what the heck is going on.

All they want are answers and some accountability for what happened to them and their loved ones.

They have been shouting into the void for years now, and right as it seemed like there would finally be some action, yet another brick wall.

Another delay for Eljamel victims and campaigners

On Thursday, a Scottish Government spokesperson said that the venue – Waverley Gate in Edinburgh – has new landlords and they would be working with them to solve the issues.

Really? What does that........
