What we learned as Swindon Town lost 1-0 to Harrogate Town
Swindon Town fell to their first defeat in seven matches after they could not make their dominance pay in a 1-0 loss at Harrogate Town.
Despite being in total control of the first half, Jasper Moon diverted a deflected shot into the back of the net from a corner to see The Sulphurites claim all three points.
In a performance in which Town showed plenty of good and some less good, what did we learn about Ian Holloway’s side?
Work remains to learn how to control games
After the root and branch review which followed Colchester United, Holloway has rebuilt Swindon from the foundations as a more solid side capable of playing fairly direct football. As a team that nobody feared this worked wonders but all of a sudden certain teams are looking at them and thinking a point might do. Tranmere Rovers were happy........
