This week has been a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we work together for Swindon.

I’m delighted that Swindon has been awarded £145,539 from the Labour Government’s Best Start in Life programme to establish a Best Start Family Hub in our town.

This investment will help us deliver vital services for families—supporting early development, parenting, health, and wellbeing—all under one roof.

It’s a modern revival of the Sure Start legacy, and a clear sign that Labour is putting children and families back at the heart of our communities.
