Married at First Sight (MAFS) Australia is back for a 12th series and it promises to be "the most explosive yet".

The reality series, which celebrates it's 10th anniversary this year - having begun back in 2015, sees Aussie singles marry a complete stranger, meeting their partner (chosen by a relationship expert) for the first time at the alter.

The new season of MAFS has already started in Australia, kicking off down under on January 27.

Viewers on Reddit have described the new series as "completely unhinged", "really wild" and "dramatic".
