Sky customers are set to see a major channel shake-up today (April 22) as a legendary station shuts after 17 years.

The broadcaster is removing the children’s channel POP Max from all platforms on Tuesday, due to its owner Narrative Entertainment UK Limited closing it down.

It first launched in 2008 as Kix before rebranding to POP almost 10 years later in 2017.

Sky aired POP Max and POP Max 1 on Sky Q and Sky HD, as well as POP Max HD on Sky Glass and Sky Stream.

The channel was a favourite among children, known for showing animated programmes including Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Pokémon........
