A new Channel 5 documentary is looking at the plot to kidnap and murder TV presenter Holly Willoughby.

The TV presenter was at the forefront of a horrific case last year, in which Gavin Plumb, from Essex, kidnap, rape and murder her.

Now, a new Channel 5 documentary is looking at the plot.

Security guard Gavin Plumb, who was 37 at the time of conviction, had planned to kidnap, rape and murder TV star Holly Willoughby.

Essex Police explained that Plumb has "developed an obsession with Holly Willoughby over a number of years".

He joined various online forums, including one called “Abduct Lovers”, where he discussed his plan to kidnap the presenter from her family home.
