Harry Potter star 'sorry' after joining new series being 'unaware' of boycott
Keira Knightley has apologised to fans after joining the new series of Harry Potter, saying she was "unaware" of calls to boycott the franchise.
The star was previously revealed to be voicing Professor Umbridge in Audible’s new seven-part audiobook adaptation of the popular franchise.
Fans of the actress were left disappointed due to JK Rowling's controversial views on transgender people.
Now, she has apologised, saying she was unaware that some fans have been calling for a boycott of Harry Potter
