EastEnders' new star has a very famous mum who has appeared on the soap before
Actor Max Murray is among the newest cast members to join the BBC soap EastEnders after taking on the role of Joel Marshall.
He is the son of Ross Marshall, who is the new partner of Vicki Fowler, now played by Alice Haig.
Vicki had previously been played by Scarlett Alice Johnson, who left the show in 2004, with this being the reintroduction of the character after 21 years.
It was previously announced that Vicki would be returning to the square following the death of Martin Fowler in the 40th anniversary live episode of EastEnders.
