Race Across the World is returning to the BBC this year and now, the participants and their travel route has been announced.

Each time the series is renewed, fans eagerly await more details and it looks like they’ve finally got a taste of what's to come.

The series is always an exciting one with people being tasked with getting from A to B, travelling through different countries without smartphones or bank cards and armed only with cash equating to the cost of flying the route, all while competing for the cash prize of £20,000 which only one team can win.

Due to its popularity, the BBC recently launched a celebrity version of the series but the next new one will see ordinary people taking on the challenge.
