Death in Paradise returns this week with a new series, starring Don Gilet and Don Warrington.

In the first trailer of series 14 of the BBC series, Gilet can be seen investigating a murder as the new detective inspector of Saint Marie.

The 58-year-old, known for his role as the villainous Lucas Johnson in the soap EastEnders as well as starring in Sherwood, was first seen in the role during a Christmas special.

His character, DI Mervin Wilson, is ready to leave the island for good when a case close to the hearts of those at the station presents itself.
