The Welsh Liberal Democrats have selected their candidate for the Caerphilly Senedd by-election.

Steve Aicheler will contest the seat following the death of Hefin David MS.

Mr Aicheler serves on Bedwas, Trethomas and Machen Community Council; and is also a governor of Machen School.
