Iconic episodes of EastEnders from Dirty Den’s divorce papers to Peggy’s emotional goodbye are available to watch online ahead of the show’s 40th anniversary.

Some 6,821 episodes of the soap feature on BBC iPlayer, after episodes in blocks of years were uploaded dating back to 2008 in recent times.

Fans can take a trip down memory lane and relive some of the show’s favourite moments before this week’s anticipated live episode plays out.
