Vera star Brenda Blethyn has revealed a massive backstage secret as the show ends after 14 years.

The long-running programme ended last week, leaving fans across the country absolutely gutted.

However, it has been revealed that the show's penultimate stars Brenda Blethyn and David Leon had been using stunt doubles, "fooling" fans for years.
