Broadcaster Jonathan Ross has hit back at the "misleading" claims that he hated his time on The Traitors and was discouraging his famous friends from taking part.

The TV personality, who is known for his self-titled talk show and role as a judge on The Masked Singer, took to social media to clear the air about the widely-reported issue.

Jonathan Ross told fans: "Despite rather misleading reports, I am NOT discouraging anyone from taking part in future series of Traitors.

"I am pleased I did it - an extraordinary experience - but I did not enjoy the duplicity as the game........
