Iconic X Factor contestant takes lead role in brand new BBC crime drama
An iconic boyband singer who made a name for himself on the X Factor is starring in a brand new BBC crime drama called Virdee.
Staz Nair was part of a music group called Red Times and has covered a number of hit songs, including Amy Winehouse's Rehab.
In 2012, he and his bandmates performed in front of music legends like Gary Barlow and Geri Halliwell but placed behind other acts like James Arthur and Union J.
