An iconic star from the beloved ITV sitcom Benidorm has shared how much they make in royalties from just two minutes of screen time.

While the programme stopped filming in 2016, some actors, including Asa Elliott, are still paid an annual sum for their contribution to the show.

The Manchester singer, who made his first appearance in the 2010 Christmas special, starred in 13 episodes between seasons five and six.

Despite his long absence from the show, the star took to TikTok to share how much money he still makes from Benidorm in royalties.

The Benidorm singer said: “So, when I first started filming the show, there was nothing in my contract to [say] I’d receive repeat fees or royalties.
