A horrid Emmerdale villain has 'returned from the dead' after being dramatically murdered.

This development could spell bad news for April Windsor, who has been drawn further and further into the shady criminal underworld by Ray and Celia.

This all came to a head when April was made to believe that she had murdered Callum Rennie (played by Max Lohan) after he attempted to sexually assault her.

April had been sent to have sex with him as a way of paying off her debt to drug dealer Ray Walters.

To defend herself, she whacked her attacker over the head with the vodka bottle before fleeing.

When she told Ray and Celia what she had done, they taunted her and said she would go to prison for murder.
