An EastEnders fan favourite is feared to have quit the BBC show after mysteriously vanishing from the programme.

Nicola Mitchell, played by Laura Doddington, is feared to have exited the soap after a dramatic storyline involving a kidnapping.

Earlier this month, fans watched as Harry Mitchell was taken hostage by Okie and Ravi.

It came after he was forced to sell drugs for the pair who run a major drug operation in East London.
