A legendary Coronation Street star is making a huge comeback six years after she was last seen on our screens.

Bury-born actress Brooke Vincent, who is best known for playing the role of Sophie Webster on the ITV soap opera, was last seen on the cobbles in 2019, making an official exit three years later in 2022.

At the time, the mother of three expressed enjoyment at being away from the gruelling filming schedule to enjoy some quality time with her family.

Speaking with The Mirror, the Coronation Street actress said: "I feel like Corrie for me is home."
