An iconic character on the hugely popular ITV soap opera Coronation Street has been told he has cancer.

Kevin Webster (played by Michael Le Vell) shocked wife Abi Webster (Sally Carman) after telling her that he was undergoing tests following the discovery of a lump.

This proved extremely difficult for her to take in with the character already unravelling after trying to save the life of stab victim Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan).........
