Beloved Emmerdale star joins rival BBC programme ahead of new series
A beloved Emmerdale star is joining a rival BBC show ahead of its new series.
Soap opera star Karl Davies, who is best known for playing Robert Sugden, will join the cast of Waterloo Road.
He will play the part of Tony Walters, the estranged husband of Nicky Walters, played by Kym Marsh.
The exciting news was shared on a fan page on Instagram called Waterloo Road Extra.
