Warriors' Steve Kerr praises Jonathan Kuminga, still doesn't plan to play him

Steve Kerr is the man ultimately responsible for benching Jonathan Kuminga the past three games. But even the Warriors coach understands that the situation he has put the polarizing 22-year-old in is an unpleasant one.
Kerr made one of his regular appearances on 95.7 The Game’s “Willard and Dibs” show on Tuesday, the night before Game 2 of the first-round playoff matchup against the Rockets. After more than 20 minutes discussing a variety of Warriors topics, co-host Dan Dibley quipped at the very end of the interview that he was “contractually obligated” to ask Kerr about Kuminga. Kerr responded by praising the young wing.
