'Sell your Swasticar': Anti-Tesla posters in SF take aim at Elon Musk

Anti-Tesla posters have popped up all over San Francisco, urging owners to get rid of their Teslas to take a stand against Elon Musk’s polarizing politics

From the Marina to Noe Valley, small white posters were slapped onto Tesla vehicles, traffic poles and street signs. One features an illustration of Musk’s Nazi salute at an Inauguration Day event with the phrase “Sell your Swasticar. Don’t be Carplicit.” Another, in an ominous nod to the renowned “Tank Man” photo from the 1989 Tiananmen Square pro-democracy protests, shows a lone figure standing before a line of Cybertrucks with the words “Tell your neighbors: Sell your Tesla. Don’t let it happen here.”

The posters sparked sharp debate online, with some calling the movement an effective way to target Musk, while others argued it unfairly punishes everyday car owners.

“We can argue over the ethics all we want but at the end of the day it’s basically become a liability to own a Tesla because of Musks behavior,” one Reddit user wrote. “… We all have been watching that TSLA........
