A man was shot Monday afternoon outside the cannabis dispensary he reportedly owned in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood. 

The shooting happened just before 5 p.m., near Mission and 9th streets, the San Francisco Police Department said in a news release. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man with gunshot wounds who was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, SFPD said.

The man was identified by his father and multiple friends as Martin Olive, the founder of Vapor Room, at 79 Ninth St. The father,........
