'I don't want to go': Iconic SF taqueria’s future is uncertain after 3 break-ins

The owner of one of the first San Francisco taquerias said she’s considering closing or selling the legendary business at 2399 Folsom St. in the next few years after suffering back-to-back break-ins.
Raymunda Ramirez, the owner of El Faro, a celebrated taqueria in the Mission District, told SFGATE that her restaurant had three burglaries in less than two weeks.
Whoever broke in “took everything, I don’t know why,” Ramirez said.

Police responded to the first burglary at the business on Oct. 5 just after 7 a.m., and saw damage to the front door, Eve Laokwansathitaya, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department, told SFGATE. A key and “other property” were reported stolen. Police responded to the second burglary barely 24 hours later,........
