As far as college towns go, University of California, Los Angeles students have always had pretty solid food options, from longstanding ice cream sandwich destination Diddy Riese and legendary sandwich shop Attari to outposts of popular Los Angeles restaurants like Tacos 1986. And now, another big name is bringing his proven fried chicken concept to UCLA’s bustling Westwood area.

Food Network star Viet Pham plans to open an outpost of Pretty Bird Hot Chicken, which already has four locations in Salt Lake City and Utah, to the newly redeveloped movie theater the Cinemas in Westwood Village in late........
